Ristra Acne Cream

Before I talk about the acne cream, let me give you a short description of this brand.
Ristra (http://www.ristra.co.id/) is one of skincare products made in Indonesia. The company owned by dr. Retno I.S Tranggono, SpKK, who is a famous cosmetodermatologist in Indonesia.
It was established in ebruari, 1983, the company offers skincare products under the many brands, such as RISTRA, Platinum by Ristra, Trustee by Ristra, dan Dermocare.
I'd say this brand can be considered as the Indonesian's Clinique.....

I've used its face powder and face cleansing milk long long time ago.

When I started to develop acne again a couple of months ago, I bought Acnes gel. It turned out it only worked well for small zits on my face.
When there was a Ristra promo counter at my office building in June, I bought the acne cream together with Ristra cleansing milk and face toner.

The cream works well, although acne doesn't dry instantly. I put on the cream 2-4 times a day as instructed.
Usually I wear it after moisturizer and sun cream. The good thing about this cream is the shade is similar to skin color, so it saves you from the embarassement of white acne cream color which appears so obviously and can't blend well with your make up.

This acne cream is worth to try and its price is economical.

Skin break out, heeelllppppp.....

Usually my skin breaks out before I have my period. I would only have one or two big acnes. But I don't know why I'm having a lot now, big and small pimples!!
Lack of sleeping, resting, and stay awake very very late can cause the break out.
This condition really bother me. I ate usual food... Ummm, well, not considered a good diet, but still in normal menu.

Maybe because I'm experimenting with new skin care products I bought online? I don't know. Maybe stress? Yes, that can be it.

A couple of weeks ago, there was a Ristra consultative service at my office building. I and my colleagues went to the counter, had our skin condition checked, then the consultant recommended Ristra products to treat the skin.
My skin condition was the worse among my colleagues. My pores are big and skin produced oil so much. The acnes swollen and left black spots.
Consultant recommended me five products!!!
I was saving my money to see Erha Clinic doctor, so I bought three only: skin cleansing milk, toner, and acne cream.

The acne cream work well compare to Acnes gel I bought previously. My big acnes healed, although black spot is still there.

I'm having medication for my flu and sinus again. My ENT Doctor prescribed me anti biotics. After I'm taking it, the break out has been reduced.
Maybe I was having allergy reaction to something?

After Eid Fitri Shopping (hauls)

Ahhh, Eid Fitri festivity has just been over three days ago, spent two days at home to clean up the house, and then I had a chance to go out yesterday to renew the car license.
So I decided to call up my college friend who live near by and checked if I can go to her house. Fortunately, she was planning to have lunch at Taman Anggrek Mall with her family, so I said that I'd meet her there.
Well, as I can predict, since she brought her two girls and a niece, she had lunch at KFC. Not much to expect at KFC, so I just ordered Twister. I planned to have another round for lunch after that :)

We did some catching ups and then we split up.

Some blogs mentioned about BB cream and I was wondering what it was.
Check out a post about BB cream here.
Yesterday, I was in search of BB Cream at that mall, hehehe..... Went to Etude shop first, phewww, the price was expensive, man! IDR 298,000.... Ummm, not in my budget, cos I read in an online shop at multiply.com, the price is in range of IDR 160,000-200,000.

Soooo, I went downstairs, heading to Skin Food store. Oh goody, they have BB cream!
I picked Aloe Sun BB Cream SPF 20 PA+, shade no. 2, price: IDR 186,000.
What it said about the product:
Rich with aloe, which possesses excellent hydrating properties and soothing effect, this multi-functional skin care product (UV protector & blemish corrector) provides moisture and nutrition to your skin while providing protection from UV rays.

The SPG said I will not need face powder. Wearing this is enough when you want a basic make up.

I looked around the shop, but didn't buy anymore cos I need to save money, ehmm... check out next adventure:

Next to Skin Food store is Himalaya Herbals store. This brand comes from India, famous for their herbal treatment, ayurvedic way. I thought they only sell herb pills and capsules, but that day I saw their facial care. Hmmm..... Shall I try? I need facial wash and exfoliator to be kept at my sister's place.
After after listening to SPG's products "information" a.k.a promotion of each product, I chose Purifying Neem Face Wash (IDR 59,000) and Gentle Exfoliating Apricot Scrub (IDR 69,000). Another type of scrub is Almond Scrub, but I wanted to try this Apricot Scrub.

I went home with a big smile. I wonder why shopping can give you such a satisfaction feeling? Scarry.....

Beauty Reminder

Basic Skin Care Tips

* Don't wash your skin too often... Washing strips oil and moisture. Besides, tap water contains chlorine which causes oxidative damage. Washing your face twice a day is sufficient.
* Do not smoke... Smoking can cause the skin to age prematurely, as well as take on an unflattering sallow tone. Nicotine will reverse your anti aging routine quicker than anything else.
* Warm water over hot... When bathing choose warm water over hot. It is not as drying and is more natural.
* Get ample sleep... Most of the body's repair and rejuvenation occurs while you sleep.
* Follow a nightly regimen... Apply products 1 hour before bedtime to allow ample time to penetrate the skin.
* Exercise regularly... It increases the flow of nutrients and oxygen to the skin, which will give skin a natural, healthy glow.
* Choose products carefully... Everyone's skin is different, so try several to see which products work best for you and which produce an anti effect.
* Never sleep with makeup... Sleeping with makeup is not natural for your skin. It may also have an adverse effect with your anti aging routine.
