Wedding reception, 23 November 2014

I attended a wedding reception on November 23, 2014 at Kempinski Hotel Indonesia. It was my ex colleague's wedding. We had Olivier coming from LA, USA.
For that function I wore a dress which was a gift from my high school friend who lives in Saudi. He gave it to me when I was doing my Umroh. Also I wore turban style head cover.
For the make up, I chose to wear neutral eye colors with wing liner and bold red lips.

Here are the pictures

Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara

Time to open new mascara. I purchased this item (Revlon CustomEyes) a couple of months ago. I have it in Blackest Black. It said that this is Revlon's first mascara with an adjustable bristle brush. It gives you two looks in one simple twist.
Setting 1 : for long and dramatic lashes
Setting 2 : for long and defined lashes.

I tried Setting 2 today, OMG, my lashes was sooo thick!

Look of the day, July 5, 2014, wedding day

Two of fellow FFG family members got married to each other and they celebrated their happy day at Gedung Arsip Nasional, Jakarta Barat in the evening, with carnival theme. As you know the venue is for outdoor party or reception.
The invitation itself looked colorful and fun. The dress code for the guests was: colorful!

I picked a dress with aqua and yellow combination.
I went bold eyes with Go Palette Sydney from Coastal Scents, liner of bottom eye liner was NYX jumbo pencil in Oyster.
Lip pencil from Make Over in Dazzle Nude, top with NYX lipgloss in French Kiss.
This was the first time I went bold using the palette and I was satisfied with the result :)

Look of the day, April 5, 2014

This was my look of the day.

I wore PAC Martha Tilaar creamy foundation, @starcrushedminerals eyeshadows, and L'oreal lipstick.
I like the hijab. I bought it at Thamrin City. You can wear it upside down. The first side is plain aqua blue color and the other side is with magenta plaids.

Henna paintings

I love henna body paintings.
My first henna body painting was done in Penang, in August 2010.
Then when I was in Jeddah for my Umroh trip, I had a simple one again. Unfortunately, it lasted only 4 days because the artist said after 15 minutes I can wash my arm. I should have let it just dry.

I had henna on my nails as well. And it lasted 6 months! Can you imagine that!

So yesterday I went to Bekasi Square to attend Womanpreneur event. They had competition for ladypreneurs and  there were many booths for them to display and sell their products.

I found that at one of the booths there was this henna artist, Ms. Annas. Well, I could not resist. I checked out her catalog and asked her to start paintings.
It only cost IDR 35,000.

Look of the Day, March 12, 2014

This is my look of the day
The lipstick I wore was from The Body Shop Color Crush in Sweetheart Pink (IDR 149,000) I forgot what eye shadows I wore, lol. I like the style of the hijab, you can wear it inside out, and it was already pre sewn. I only needed to wrap it around and used one pin on the top of my head.
Here's another picture of me wearing the same hijab.

Wooden Wedges by Kloom

I love my new wooden wedges from Kloom. It's comfortable and they have big size for my feet. They are handmade.
This costs IDR 450,000. The height is perfect for me. I don't dare to wear higher heels.
I saw the brand for the first time at Ciputra Mall Cibubur. I didn't buy, only "admiring" the foot wears they displayed, LOL. I bought these two weeks ago.
Here's their website
Gonna look for more designs for me :)
