Injured right foot, follow up X-ray

Today I visited my doctor and bring my new X-ray for his review.
He said the X-ray shows healing process, the bridging of the tissue is there. And I was fortunate to have the X-ray last week because today the machine was broken.
I need to keep taking the medicine, use the ankle support all the time, and walk in precautions.
He said actually I need to rest my foot for awhile, cannot work all the time... Well, probably I can do it next week :)
I'm grateful that the foot is healing....

Injured right foot, follow up

I have driven my car right after I felt my injured foot is getting better. The problem is that when I'm in bad traffic or stuck in traffic jam. My foot will start to hurt again as I step on the brake and gas over and over again.
My orthopedic asked me to come back for check a week after but I keep failing to meet the schedule due to some work. Finally I was able to see him on January 19, 2013. I told him that I felt pain during the last several days especially when I am in operating room with cold temperature.
He gave me new prescription. I will need to get X-ray again in two weeks. I still sit on the floor or sit on the chair or my bed when I do my pray. I still wear the ankle support.

I went to hospital for my follow up X-Ray today because I won't be able to come meet my doctor on Jan 26 or Feb 2 due to DNA Nite events.
I'm planning to visit him next Tuesday with my new X-Ray.

Injured right foot

I ended 2012 with injured right foot!
It happened on Sunday afternoon when I went to my friend's house, on December 16, 2012. It happened so quick. I was walking towards my car and all of sudden I sprained my foot. It was very very painful. But the pain didn't kick in until 3 hours after that. I was driving back to my house.

December 17, 2012
The next day, I called my traditional masseur and let her massage my injured foot. Man, I was in pain! I screamed and screamed. Even my 4 years old nephew rub my forehead to calm me down (awww he's so sweet, I  had to burst in laugh because of  that).

Moisturizing Socks

I've been keeping this item quite long since I received it with my various orders from USA.
I bought Bamboo Overnight Moisturizing Socks at Amazon.Com.

My boyfriend once told me that there are socks special for dry feet and those for diabetics patients.
When I saw these at Amazon, I straight away put it in my shopping cart.
I have cracked heels and very dry feet. I put on my foot lotion every night but I was always afraid the lotion would stain my beed sheet. So these socks come in handy :)

Product Features

  • Just apply your favorite lotion and cover with the socks.
  • Wear overnight or just watching TV. Keeps your lotion working right at the surface to help heal dry, cracked skin.
  • 95% bamboo and 5% Lycra.
  • Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, naturally antibacterial, won't hold odor
  • Soft and Comfortable Feel!

The shop has gloves too. The fabric is so soft. I wear the socks every night when I sleep.

Oriflame foot care products

I ran out of Mustika Ratu foot scrub. When I saw Oriflame catalog which was carried by a friend of mine, I bumped with these products and bought them last July.
I haven't used them yet due to my busy schedule :(
I've been neglected my foot care for awhile, although I did get pedicure once a month and reflexology massage.

Care for your feet

Often we don't pay attention to this part of the body, just because they are located down there.
You must allocate your time even 5 minutes to take care of your feet and toes.
This part supports your body the whole day, in the shoes - cramping, even we walk around the house in bare feet.

There are options for you to care for your feet, you can do it by yourself or just go to your favorite salon/spa.

I remember one time I got foot spa service when I was in Seoul. Gosh, for 45 minutes service, it cost me USD 35!
While in Bali, it cost around USD 5-10, of course there's some different style in the treatment. In Jakarta, I have my favorite salon. There I get foot reflexology, or just pedicure treatment. It's separate treatments.

Here is a simple foot treatment, where you can do it at home, while watching your favorite TV program:
1. Prepare a bucket of warm water, put 1-2 tablespoon of bath salt, or use 2-3 drops Faithful Feet Aromatic FootSpa Concentrate. Soak in your feet for 15 minutes.
2. After that, brush you feet, this is to clean the skin and nails, and lift up dead cells. Wash up and dry with towel.
3. Give feet a massage, use Faithful Feet Massage Oil Natural massage oil that contains grapefruit and ginger essential oil to soothe your tired feet.
Place the bottle in a receptacle of hot (not boiling) water to warm. Pour approximately 5 ml onto hands and massage slowly and gently onto the feet for 5 - 10 minutes.

Then, you are ready to sleep with a fresh feeling in your feet and legs.
