Skin break out

When I was organizing my skin care products, I saw The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Wash which contained only half bottle. I started using it again for 3 weeks now and alas! It caused my skin breaks out. Now I remember why I took away that face wash from my daily routine! It dries my skin and my skin feels tight. Oh my!
I read  the review here and some of the reviewer experienced the similar thing like mine.

I'm back to my facial cream that hubby gave me. Of course I must use it sparingly because the content is 2/3 left and I'm still waiting for him to send me new packages. I bought Wardah's facial wash (I will write about Wardah Cosmetics soon)... It's not pricey. It's gentle to the face. It doesn't have detergent or soap based. I love it.

To repair the skin condition, beside changing the facial wash, I also apply The Body Shop Aloe Vera night soothing cream and The Face Shop Sleeping mask.

Last Week Hauls: Luscious Lather

Been eyeing for long time the Luscious Lather products. Not to mention that Diane, the owner is very active promoting them through Twitter and Facebook. I purchased at her Etsy Store.
When she launched Trio Samplers for Oily Skin, I said to myself that I've gotta try this.

Before there was the Trio, I sent a message to Diane, asking about which products suitable for my skin condition (oily, has blemish, and large pores). We discussed in several messages, and I noted the products she suggested. The products included in the set were in Diane's suggestion:

Ultra Detox Deep Pore Facial Cleanser
AHA Facial Toner
Soothing Light Lotion

Each is one 1 oz. bottle
(Complete info: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=40674855)

Other than the trio, I also bought:
- Ultra Gentle Milk Facial Cleanser with Multi-Fruit Acids and Organic Green Tea, 90 Percent Organic
- Detox Facial Mask with Moroccan Clay, MSM, Vitamin C and Walnut Shell Powder - Good for All Skins, all Natural, Vegan (2 oz. cobalt blue jar with a black lid)
- Alpha Hydroxy Acid Facial Creme - 84 Percent Organic, Vegan (1.5 oz. cobalt blue jar with jet black lid)

Each product has so many beneficial ingredients. For example, the facial mask contains Bentonite Clay is a highly absorbent clay that pulls excess oils and toxins from the skin.Moroccan Lava Clay (Rhassoul Clay) certainly has the ability to smooth and improve dry skin.

The smallest jar is body scrub free sample I received.

The package is sealed. This is a unique thing I see of the packaging. Some of handmade skin care, sometimes there's no seal like this. So when you open the cap, you can see te product straight away.

After Eid Fitri Shopping (hauls)

Ahhh, Eid Fitri festivity has just been over three days ago, spent two days at home to clean up the house, and then I had a chance to go out yesterday to renew the car license.
So I decided to call up my college friend who live near by and checked if I can go to her house. Fortunately, she was planning to have lunch at Taman Anggrek Mall with her family, so I said that I'd meet her there.
Well, as I can predict, since she brought her two girls and a niece, she had lunch at KFC. Not much to expect at KFC, so I just ordered Twister. I planned to have another round for lunch after that :)

We did some catching ups and then we split up.

Some blogs mentioned about BB cream and I was wondering what it was.
Check out a post about BB cream here.
Yesterday, I was in search of BB Cream at that mall, hehehe..... Went to Etude shop first, phewww, the price was expensive, man! IDR 298,000.... Ummm, not in my budget, cos I read in an online shop at multiply.com, the price is in range of IDR 160,000-200,000.

Soooo, I went downstairs, heading to Skin Food store. Oh goody, they have BB cream!
I picked Aloe Sun BB Cream SPF 20 PA+, shade no. 2, price: IDR 186,000.
What it said about the product:
Rich with aloe, which possesses excellent hydrating properties and soothing effect, this multi-functional skin care product (UV protector & blemish corrector) provides moisture and nutrition to your skin while providing protection from UV rays.

The SPG said I will not need face powder. Wearing this is enough when you want a basic make up.

I looked around the shop, but didn't buy anymore cos I need to save money, ehmm... check out next adventure:

Next to Skin Food store is Himalaya Herbals store. This brand comes from India, famous for their herbal treatment, ayurvedic way. I thought they only sell herb pills and capsules, but that day I saw their facial care. Hmmm..... Shall I try? I need facial wash and exfoliator to be kept at my sister's place.
After after listening to SPG's products "information" a.k.a promotion of each product, I chose Purifying Neem Face Wash (IDR 59,000) and Gentle Exfoliating Apricot Scrub (IDR 69,000). Another type of scrub is Almond Scrub, but I wanted to try this Apricot Scrub.

I went home with a big smile. I wonder why shopping can give you such a satisfaction feeling? Scarry.....
