Hi, for today's look, I wore my light green blouse and pashmina with the matching color.

Cousin's wedding reception, look using Meow's Rain Forrest Collection

I was in Surabaya for three days to attend my cousin's wedding.
The wedding ceremony was on December 6, 2010. We agreed to wear beige color for our outfit.
I picked a broken white dress with yellowish hijab.
Since the outfit color was very soft, I opted bold color for my eyes: Red and golden combo from Meow's Rain Forrest Collection and one color from Simple Pleasure Collection.

I attended a lunch, which was a reunion for Jakarta's former Tae Kwon Do athletes. My niece asked whether she could come, so I brought her. I thanked my friend, Juana Wangsa Putri, who was a world champion (can you believe that??) and compete in 2004 Olympic Games in Greece, for including me in the invitation list.
It's been a long time since I met my Tae Kwon Do friends.
I picked my new dress I bought from online shop in Facebook. I love the dress!
I decided to wear dramatic eye look, smokey eyes using Meow's Halloween Collection as Halloween was coming (no relations what so ever,  lol)

I wanted to buy all colors, but I must save. So I chose colors which attracted me.

Wedding in Kuala Lumpur, part 2 (wedding dinner)

Here's part two of the ceremony.
When I arrived in the hotel after the morning ceremony, I decided to take a nap because I felt that I would be going to be sick, with the sore throat and everything.
My colleagues from Singapore, Jewell and Shri Omar, have arrived in KL but were having lunch when I had my nap. They were back to the room right after I woke up.

When we were getting ready for the dinner, I found out that Shri is fond of make up too! She brought a set of make up brush and a make up palette.... She did Jewell make up too. I really enjoyed watching her working on Jewell's face :)


My left eye was swollen, I didn't know why. When I woke up from my nap, it was just like that. I think it was my allergy to my contact lens. But hey.... I still look pretty, right ? hehe.....

We had the wedding dinner at ..... Restaurant in Petaling Jaya, not far from the hotel.
Linda has arranged a van to pick us up at the hotel at 7 PM. There were eleven of us: Four from Philippine, three from Indonesia (including me), two from Singapore, one from Aussie, and one from Japan.

Ohhh, the eye colors in the picture didn't show up :(

Lovely bride

I was put at a special table serving Malay food. So I'm safe. While other tables served Chinese food which contains pork.
A friend of the groom gave speech and photo slides of bride and groom alone and then photos of both of them were shown. The dinner accompanied by songs from duet of wedding singer who play instruments.
Half way of the dinner, Linda changed the dress. She wore red Shinese style dress. She looked amazing.

Wedding in Kuala Lumpur, part 1

Here's the day! In Chinese tradition, they did a morning ceremony at the bride's place.
What they do is give challenges to the groom and his friends before the groom is allowed to see his bride. The challenges are like fun games.


Last night, I really couldn't decide which outfit I should wear for morning and evening events! Since Chinese likes red color, I decided to wear my pink beaded blouse with traditional sarong.

Look of the night: A friend's wedding reception

I've got an invitation to Meyna's wedding on June 20, 2010. I didn't know what to wear because most of my formal dresses do not fit me anymore. Yeah, I gained weight :(

This is an old 2-piece clothing, consist of gamis and pants. It's an Indian sari type of fabric I bought in Bandung in 2004 and made it at my tailor. It was still fit, hehe......

Meow's Egyptian Treasure eyes: green, yellow, gold

I felt like playing with colors today, also to uplift my mood..... So I put some bright colors on my eye lids.
I opt for Meow's Egyptian Treasure and colors of the day would be green with combination of yellow and gold. To match it, I wore dark green hijab and green blouse to work.

My skin is not in good condition now. It's breaking out, acnes here and there, and it feels irritated. To cool it down, I didn't use mineral make up loose base and powder, instead I applied BB cream and Earthen Glow Minerals Mousse Foundation.

Eyes of the Day: Using Meow's Halloween and Egyptian Treasure

I had some spare time this afternoon after 2 hours before I attended my niece who was enjoying with her drawing after I taught her how to use water color paint.

So before I worked on my online shop, I decided to test my Meow's foundation and face primer and also to play with eyeshadow from its Halloween and Egyptian Treasure collection.

I prepared my face with The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Lotion with SPF 15 and then applied Meow's Premiere Puss Primer for Combination skin.
After that I applied Purrfect Puss Foundation in Frisky Sphinx.
Last night I tested the foundation samples I bought, and I managed to find several colors that may match my face shade. Frisky Sphinx was a bit lighter at that time, but when I used it today, it looked okay.
I finished with Equilibrium Balancing Powder.

Because I wanted to try several combination at the same time, I wore different collection on each of my eye, lol.

Gypsy Look for office fancy dinner party

The theme of our dinner party at kick off meeting in Hua Hin, Thailand was fancy party (Nov 29, 2009). So everyone can wear fancy outfit or costumes. Maybe because we were not that too far from Halloween?

From Indonesia office, we decided to have our own theme, which was wearing batik. The ladies wore Batik skirt and with other style creation, while the gentlemen wore Batik pants with Kabayan theme.

As this was my first costume party, I really wanted to look differently.
I decided to go with Gypsy Look. Well..... Before the team made decision about the final theme, I was thinking to rent West Sumatera outfit, but there was no big size outfit for me and with the lengthy time of traveling, the cost of rent will be expensive!
I was thinking to borrow long curly wig from a friend of mine, but I didn't have time to pick it up at my friend's house.

I made a research in internet for gypsy look make up and gypsy style, I even inspired to wear fake eyelashes....lol.

I found this tutorial on doing gypsy look and wearing falsies in Youtube.

Here's what I used:

FACE & CHEEKS
- Everyday Minerals base, Medium Beige, Matte. Wet application. This is the darkest base I have, I choose it because of the recommendation I read from Internet: darker tone and bronzing.
- The All Natural Face hydration mist in Patchouli for spraying the base foundation and for finishing
- Everyday Minerals face powder, Finishing Dust
No concealer needed, and with wet application of the base, it really helped to cover my blemishes.
- Earthen Glow Minerals, Bermuda Bronzer
- NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in MPB10
